About this site

Howdy. This is the digital home of J.A. Shieldsmith. (That's me!) I'm a real human and creator of (mostly) fictional horror.

I don't currently have a lot of fiction out there in the wild, but you can find my first published piece here, with Piker Press.

My first featured anthology piece is also available in the Fun in the Dark #3: Small Town Weirdness series from Kilter & Rammel. You can purchase it here, and read my story for free for a limited time, right here.

I'll be featured in a folklore anthology releasing next year, but can't tell you much more beyond that. So, that's a pretty useless bit of information.

Beyond that, stick around for occasional (Read: Once here and there, going on never) updates here on my site.
